Dublin facing more bin disruption today

Thousands more households around Dublin are expected to be affected by the continuing anti-bin tax protests today.

Seven separate waste depots were blockaded yesterday by demonstrators.

The action escalated following the jailing of anti-bin charge campaigners for contempt of court on Monday.

All four local authorities in the capital are likely to take High Court proceedings against the demonstrators.
