Government to sell off rural Garda stations

The Government is planning to sell off or redevelop State properties, including Garda stations, to generate revenue for the exchequer.

The Office of Public Works has already earmarked a number of rural garda stations for sale to developers who will be asked to provide a small one-room garda facilities on their sites.
