Report recommends centralised radiotherapy

Four centralised cancer radiotherapy units are recommended in a report to be published today on the development of cancer services.

The report recommends centres be located in Dublin, Cork and Galway. It also recommends a major expansion of treatment centres for cancer patients nationwide.
