IRA accused of abducting dissident republican

The political group linked to the so-called Real IRA has accused mainstream republicans of abducting one of its members.

Marian Price, a spokesperson for the 32-County Sovereignty Committee, claimed Belfast man Stephen Moore was abducted in the south of the city yesterday by members of the Provisional IRA.

Ms Price said Mr Moore was taken from his girlfriend’s aunt’s home in south Belfast. She said those who abducted him ordered the family not to tell the media or police.
