SF: Peace doesn't rest in IRA's hands
Sinn Féin's Chief Negotiator, Martin McGuinness, has said the focus on the responsibility of republicans to play their part in breaking the political deadlock is unhealthy.
Mr McGuinness was reacting to a statement by Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble yesterday, that visible evidence of IRA decommissioning is needed.
Mr Trimble said Unionists will not be satisfied by a statement from the international decommissioning body chief, Canadian General John de Chastelain, that an act of decommissioning had taken place.
