Bord Pleanala approves controversial Dublin development
An Bord Pleanala has approved controversial plans to build up to 10,000 new houses and apartments in the Adamstown area of west Dublin.
The planning body’s approval was subject to more than 20 conditions, but was granted without any Environmental Impact Study being carried out.
The Green Party has responded to the decision with dismay, saying roads, public transport and education services in the area would be unable to cope with an influx of 30,000 residents.
