Central heating fault 'may have killed couple'

An elderly couple who died in south Dublin yesterday could have been killed by a fault in their central heating system, it emerged tonight.

The pair – who were in their 80s – were taken to hospital after they were found at their home in Dundrum at around 12.30pm, but were pronounced dead on arrival.
