Higgins to use prison time for bin tax strategy

Socialist TD Joe Higgins who was imprisoned last week along with councillor Clare Daly is vowing to use his time behind bars to plot his ongoing strategy against the bin tax.

The Dublin West deputy is understood to be drawing up a schedule for his one-month jail term in Mountjoy.
