Wall calls for swift Govt action

Labour TD Jack Wall is calling on the Tánaiste to act immediately following the decision by Braun to put hundreds of employees on protective notice in Carlow.

The Kildare South TD says the issuing of protective notice to 600 employees gives Mary Harney plenty of time to intervene on behalf of the workforce.

He says hundreds of families will suffer if Braun closes.
