Minister gives no details of Mayo landslide relief

Minister Eamonn O’Cuiv is planning to visit North Mayo following last Friday night’s landslides.

The Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs said the Mayo County Council has been working "around the clock" since the events at the weekend.

Mr O’Cuiv has vowed that the Government is committed to helping out the community but would not be drawn on what levels of compensation they can expect.
