Workers aim to finish Mayo clean-up today

Work will continue today in Co Mayo on reconnecting the road to Pollathomas, after Friday night's landslide.

County Council staff, gardaí and locals worked all day yesterday to remove tonnes of earth which fell onto the road, six and seven foot deep in places, cutting off almost 100 residents from the rest of the country.
