Cowen to hold talks with McGuinness and Murphy
Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen is due to hold separate meetings in Dublin later today with Sinn Féin’s Martin McGuinness and Northern Secretary Paul Murphy.
The talks are expected to focus on ongoing efforts to revive the Irish peace process and lay the groundwork for Northern Assembly elections that were cancelled by the British government earlier this year.
Dissident republican death threats against members of the District Policing Partnerships in the North are also expected to be discussed.
