Planning Tribunal to resume later today

The Planning Tribunal is expected to question London-based solicitor Anthony Seddon when it resumes in Dublin later today.

Mr Seddon is expected to questioned about his involvement in property purchases made by former Fianna Fáil TD Liam Lawlor.

This summer, the British solicitor refused to give evidence to the tribunal unless it bought him a business-class seat to Dublin and paid him £260-an-hour (€370).

The tribunal agreed to his demands, but he still failed to show up, saying he did not have enough time to prepare for his appearance.
