Labour quiz Govt response time to possible Sellafield attack

Labour MEP Proinsias DeRossa has questioned the Government’s reaction to a response to dealing with a possible terrorist strike at the Sellafield Nuclear Plant in Britain.

The news comes after the European Commission said it had received no formal submission from Ireland on Sellafield as it prepares plans for a European disaster prevention strategy.
