Libraries access project launched

A new project for easier access to libraries for the disabled is being launched.

The Library Council and The Equality Authority have drawn up new guidelines to provide people with disabilities with equal access to buildings and facilities inside.

Equality legislation requires employers and service providers to accommodate the needs of the disabled.
