Unions at Aer Rianta have claimed the break up of the airports operator will only benefit airlines.

The TEEU is concerned there has been no research conducted to support plans to separate Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

Spokesperson Padraig Yates said there was no benefit for consumers in the plan.
