New oyster eating record made in Co Down

A Norwegian man has eaten his way into the Guinness Book of Records at the Hillsborough Oyster Festival.

The record breaker managed to sink 187 oysters in just three minutes, almost doubling the previous best.

He polished off his meal with a few pints of Guinness at the town’s annual Oyster Festival in Co Down.
