Police in Northern Ireland were today investigating the fatal shooting of a British soldier on an army base in Derry.

Police in Northern Ireland were today investigating the fatal shooting of a British soldier on an army base in Derry.

The 21-year-old died following an incident last night at around 8.30pm at Shackleton Barracks in Ballykelly.
