Rape victims 'should have legal representation'

The Rape Crisis Centre has reiterated its call for rape victims to be given separate legal representation in the trials of their alleged attackers.

The centre said some victims of rape and sexual assaults can be put under enormous pressure by defence lawyers, exacerbating the trauma they have suffered.
