NEHB launches inquiry into patient death

The North Eastern Health Board has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a psychiatric patient after he went missing while in the care of two nurses in Co Roscommon.

John Gallagher's body was recovered from the River Shannon near Rooskey last night.
