Govt funds human rights projects

The Government has authorised grants totalling €827,000 for worldwide human rights and democratisation projects.

A spokesman said the money was aimed at supporting small-scale programmes which contributed to awareness-raising, training and capacity-building in the field of human rights and democratisation.
