Three Aer Lingus flights hit by blackout

Aer Lingus has said most of its transatlantic flights are operating normally despite the overnight power blackout in the north-eastern United States and Canada.

The Irish airline said three of its flights were delayed due to the blackout.

The Dublin to Boston and Shannon to New York flights are due to depart this evening, several hours later than scheduled, while a third delayed flight from New York to Shannon is due to land at Shannon later today.
