The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has reiterated its call for proper vetting procedures for people working with children.

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has reiterated its call for proper vetting procedures for people working with children.

The society said it would be seeking to collect 250,000 signatures this summer on a petition designed to pressure the Government on the matter.
