More than 40,000 people are expected to gather at today's National Livestock Show in Tullamore, Co Offaly, Ireland's biggest agri-show.

The show, which dates back to 1840, is being held in the grounds of Charleville Castle and will feature livestock awards, trade stands, horse-jumping, music, fashion and family entertainment.
