Woman sexually assaulted by intruders

A woman was sexually assaulted by intruders who broke into her home in Bangor, Co Down police revealed today.

The victim and her husband were awakened in bed in the early hours of yesterday morning by two men armed with a knife.

The men tied the husband and then dragged the woman downstairs where they indecently assaulted her before leaving the house with a sum of money.

Police in Bangor have warned the public to close their downstairs windows and lock doors after this attack.
