Gardaí in Co Cork have named the 81-year-old cyclist who died in a road accident yesterday as Cornelius Linehan, from Fermoy.

Gardaí in Co Cork have named the 81-year-old cyclist who died in a road accident yesterday as Cornelius Linehan, from Fermoy.

Mr Linehan died when his bicycle collided with a lorry in Corrin, on the main Dublin to Cork road, at around 4.45pm yesterday.
