20-year-old stabbed in back

A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the back in west Belfast last night as he made his way home from a night out.

The man was walking with a friend when both men were confronted and chased by a group of five to seven men near the junction of the Old Whiterock Road and Springfield Road.
