A road traffic accident which killed a baby girl, has left her three-year-old brother fighting for his life.

A road traffic accident which killed a baby girl, has left her three-year-old brother fighting for his life.

The boy was seriously injured when his family car collided with a lorry at Ashfield Cross on the main Rosslare to Wexford road yesterday morning.

The lorry is thought to have crashed into the back of the vehicle, instantly killing the 18-month-old girl.

The Dublin family had been on holidays in Co Wexford. The three-year-old boy is in a critical condition in Dublin's Beaumont Hospital.
