Toddler fights for life after crash

A three-year-old boy is fighting for his life in Dublin's Beaumont Hospital after a road traffic accident, which killed his 18-month-old baby sister today.

The young boy was seriously injured when the car he was travelling in with his family collided with a lorry at Ashfield Cross on the main Rosslare to Wexford road this morning.

The boy's parents are being treated at Wexford General Hospital where they are said to be stable.
