Teachers to get education online

The Minister for Education has approved full accreditation for a Graduate Diploma Course with Hibernia College, an online third level college.

The 18-month course is a combination of online content, live tutorials and face-to-face classes in selected centres around the country.

Dr Sean Rowland, Executive Chairman of the college, said today it will be particularly useful for substitute teachers who are trying to get full qualifications.
