Laois steam rally goes ahead

The organisers of the National Steam Engine Rally in Stradbally, Co Laois, have confirmed that this year's event will be going ahead this weekend.

There were rumours that the annual event would be cancelled because of Laois participation in the All-Ireland football quarter-finals on Sunday.
