Adams reiterates call for early elections

Gerry Adams has returned from the US hoping he's done enough to press for elections in the North.

The Sinn Fein President held talks with congressional leaders and the Bush government's special envoy to Ireland Richard Haass.

He's hoping pressure will be put on Tony Blair to announce a fresh election date as he believes it's in everyone's interests.
