We are peace observers, insist Colombia three

Three Irishmen linked to the IRA and accused of training Colombian rebels told a judge they were only observing a now-defunct peace process in the South American country.

They spoke for the first time yesterday as their nine-month terrorism trial in the capital Bogota neared its end.
