Minister to publish RTE public service guidelines

Communications Minister Dermot Ahern is due to publish guidelines today aimed at making RTE more accountable to the public.

The introduction of a Public Service Charter was part of an agreement between RTE and Government last December which paved the way for an increase in the television licence fee.
