TV legend Gay Byrne pays tribute to movie legend Bob Hope

Bob Hope once appeared on the 'Late Late Show' to promote the 1967 Film "Eight on the Lam".

Gay Byrne remembers him fondly and says he was an absolute gentleman.

"I remember him as being charming, relaxed, easy and delightful. He was very funny on the show and I got a great thrill just sitting beside him cause he was one of my show business heroes.

"At the end of the interview he had one cup of coffee and shook hands with everybody."
