Belfast murder - man charged

Police in the North have charged a 23-year-old man with a murder linked to a loyalist feud.

Twenty-two- year-old Belfast man Jonathan Stewart was shot dead at a party two days after Christmas last year.

He was standing in the kitchen of a house in north Belfast when a gunman forced his way inside and singled him out.

The attack took place during a feud within the loyalist Ulster Defence Association.

Mr Stewart's family said he was not involved in any paramilitary organisation.
