Bonner Report published after baby's death

The Bonner Report into the future development of Monaghan Hospital has been published this evening.

The Report recommends that Monaghan General Hospital should continue to play a vital role in the delivery of acute hospital services in the Cavan/Monaghan region.

Extra funding is being promised to upgrade facilities at the Hospital.

The report was written by Kevin Bonner and was commissioned following the death of baby Bronagh Livingstone last December.
