Harney voices reservations on carbon tax

The Tánaiste Mary Harney has confirmed that she has serious reservations about introducing a carbon tax.

Ireland is obliged to introduce such a tax in order to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, as part of its commitments to the Kyoto protocol.
