The Minister for Health is expected to give his first reaction to the report into the death of baby Bronagh Livingstone later today.

Minister Micheál Martin spent yesterday studying the report, which was compiled by former civil servant Kevin Bonner.

A Department of Health spokesperson said a decision on whether to make it public would be taken after consultations with the Livingstone family.

Prematurely-born Bronagh died en route to Cavan General Hospital last December after her mother was re-directed there from Monaghan hospital, which has no maternity services.
