Unions representing CIE workers are due to hold a public meeting in Dublin today to outline their opposition to the Government's plans to break up the company and privatise 25% of Dublin Bus routes.

The unions said they hoped to inform the public about the effects the Government's plans would have on CIE passengers and the company's employees.
