EU agriculture ministers have adopted new rules regarding labelling of genetically modified food products, EU sources said.

This follows a vote on July 2 by the European Parliament. They voted in favour of directives requiring that food and animal feed be labelled if it contains a minimum of 0.9%of GM ingredients.
