Lawlor denies threats to solicitor

Former Fianna Fail TD Liam Lawlor has denied threatening and blackmailing solicitor John Caldwell as part of a dispute over the sale of land at Coolamber in Lucan.

Mr Lawlor was speaking at the Planning Tribunal in Dublin.

Mr Lawlor denied that he threatened to report Mr Caldwell to the Incorporated Law Society, a move that could have led to the solicitor being barred from practice.
