Man suffers serious head injuries in Dublin row

A man is in a critical condition in hospital today after apparently being hit over the head with a television set during a disturbance in Dublin last night.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident, which happened at a house in Tyrone Place, Inchicore, at around 11pm.

The injured man is being treated for serious head injuries in St James' Hospital.
