Harney expecting more job losses

Tánaiste Mary Harney says more job losses will follow in manufacturing, following the announcement of 234 job losses at Waterford Crystal.

The lay-offs affect 129 temporary staff and 105 voluntary redundancies are being sought among permanent staff. Waterford Crystal also plans to implement a pay freeze.
