The Blanchardstown Homelessness Group in Dublin is due to launch a project today aimed at identifying people at risk of becoming homeless before they end up on the streets.

The group said the causes of homelessness, such as family breakdown and drug abuse, must be identified earlier so that support and services can be provided to those at risk.
