A motorcyclist who was injured in a road accident in Co Cork last Friday has died in hospital.

A motorcyclist who was injured in a road accident in Co Cork last Friday has died in hospital.

30-year-old John Harrington, from Blackrock, was seriously injured after crashing his motorcycle on the South Ring Road on Friday night.

Gardaí are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
