CIE bosses are due to meet later today to decide whether to cancel all bus and train services this Friday due to industrial action by workers.

The workers are planning to refuse to accept fares for the entire day in protest at Transport Minister Seamus Brennan's plans to privatise 25% of Dublin Bus routes and break CIE into competing bus and rail companies.
