Workers at Dublin, Shannon and Cork airports are due to down tools on Monday to discuss the Government's plans to break up Aer Rianta, which operates the three airports.

Trade unions reacted angrily yesterday when Transport Minister Seamus Brennan announced plans to set up independent, competing companies to run Dublin, Shannon and Cork.
