Ireland facing ozone court action: McKenna
Ireland is facing imminent court action over its failure to comply with EU regulations on controlling substances that damage the ozone layer.
The rules oblige member states to report on systems established for recovering ozone-depleting substances, but Ireland failed to do so by its December 2001 deadline.
