US President George W Bush has announced his intention to appoint Chicago businessman James Kenny as his new Ambassador to Ireland.

US President George W Bush has announced his intention to appoint Chicago businessman James Kenny as his new Ambassador to Ireland.

Mr Kenny will replace Richard Egan, who retired earlier this year.
